Commonweath Canine Search & Recovery will be hosting a
3 man tournament Oct 14th.
1st place pay out
$200 cash, tropies, 3 JT tournament packs, 3 JT hats, 3 JT proshield masks, 3 spectra lenses, 3 JT CD cases, & 3 JT gear sacks.
2nd place
$150 cash, tropies, 3 JT tournament packs, 3 JT hats, 3 proshield masks, 3 JT cases
3rd place 3 JT tournament packs, 3 JT hats, 3JT CD Cases
Registraition will be $150 per team.
All teams must register by 3:00PM Fridat Oct 13th
any team that registers after that add $20 inconveince fee.
The event will take place @ 99 Grafenburg Rd Waddy, KY (502)829-0122 if you need directions here is a link to www.mapquest.com it easy to find. located near Frankfort just a couple miles off of I-64.
Rental Gear available at the on site pro shop.
Captains meeting @ 8:30 AM Start @ 9:AM
This event will be advertised around the state & should be covered by some sort of media.
This will be an open event
Law Enforcement, Fire, Rescue, & Service men will get $25 off registration fee's 'proof reqired'
We will go by SMT rules.

I just wanted to thank Jeff on behalf of Commonwealth Canine Searcha and Recovery for organizing a Benefit Tournament for us. Just a little about us incase anyone is curious:
We are a group of volunteers, just like everyone else have daily 9-5 jobs, that train our dogs at night and on the weekends on what we call our "spare time" if there is such a thing. With over 200 combined years of search experience, and hundreds of searches under our belt, we dedicate our time to serving the public throughtout the state of Ky. Our mission is to work with local-state law enforcement agencies, fire departments and other entities during a search for a missing person or recovery event. We have dogs that are trained in search/rescue and recovery on land and water. This is, to my knowledge, the first benefit we have ever had, so we are all very excited to share the experience with friends and strangers alike. Serving as a volunteer is seomthing we pride ourselves in, however it gets a little costly at times as you can imagine, so the money that is donated will go toward continuing education for the dog handlers and their "k9 Partners", training supplies, equipment, etc. We are all a very blessed group of dedicated people and are looking forward to a wonderful fun filled day. Thank you again and we will be looking for you on game day!
